DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF A  PNEUMATICALLY ACTUATED EXOSKELETON FOR SITTING POSTURE TO REDUCE LABOR FATIGUE

(Final year B.E project)

Aim:

The objective of this project is to design and fabricate an ergonomically flexible exoskeleton which minimizes the Labor fatigue due to long hours of standing in production / assembly/ inspection line in an Organization.

New prototype product and its innovative element:
An ergonomically flexible lower extremity exoskeleton which fits an Indian profile with less cost and weight, aimed to minimize labor fatigue caused due to long hours of standing in production / assembly/ inspection line in an Organization. The prototype is designed in such way that it transfers the whole human body weight to ground through a lockable pneumatic damper thereby permitting several kinds of sitting position by offering individual degrees of freedom for both the legs. The prototype is designed taking into account the center of gravity and balance.
Various sitting postures with individual adjustment!
The project has been selected as the best final year project in U.G Mechanical and Automobile Engineering and has been nominated by the faculty of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering for
Innovative Student Projects Award – 2016. given by Indian National Academy.

Infinity Dustbin Project!

Just throw it into the bin!

Vision of the project:
·         Aim is to increase the utility of trash bins by using sensors, load cells and counters.
·         Motto of this work was to instill a sense of responsibility in students about waste segregation and disposal.

·         ‘Throw trash to display weight’ bin concept and ‘throw trash in the ring’ game concept to allure students in college to keep the environment clean by active participation.

Concept 1:
CHECK POINT!
Drop Trash to check your weight.
 Concept 2:
STRIKER

I am leading a group of Mechanical,Electrical and Computer Science students who are currently  working on the project. This project is in the final phase of completion.Follow the updates for more details.
